I am trying to figure out if I have a problem with my software- on the character wizard- when I am working on the face/ head- the dials are greyed out-neck width, head top, head middle and head bottom. Everything else works perfectly. They change when i change what I am working on, ie, I can change from man to girl and the settings change, but I cannot adjust them from there. is this normal?

Those settings only work with the generic head( the one at the very top of the list). Choose the mannequin preset ,it uses the generic head, and you'll be able to use those settings except the neck width setting, haven't found any head that it works on.

oh yeah! it does work with the generic head and the mannequin- thank you- it was making me crazy not knowing if I was just doing something wrong!
