How do I make a layer appear or dissapear on a frame.
For example, make a vector layer appear at frame 10. And dissapear at frame 20?

At frame 0 double-click the layer you want to make appear and disappear and where it says visible, click the box next to it so that it doesnt have a tick in (the timeline should go red). Now go to frame 10 and double-click the same layer a click the same box to make a tick appear (the timeline will now be a bit red and a bit normal colour). Than at frame 20 double-click again and un-tick the box (you should now have a colour pattern that goes red, normal, red). That should do it

u can use an alternative method to make a layer appear and disappear.
therefore u could key a position of the layer somewhere
out of the working space at frame 9 and
at frame 10 u could key the position where i shall appear.
then u can key the position of the layer 1 frame before it disappears again, and the key the position out of working space in the next frame.
that is an old technique i once used as alternative to the 1/0 posibility moho 5.1 provides.
u shall try it for fun
PS:
the 1/0 feature moho now provides is a lot easier to handle.

Just for the record, layer visibility is not a new feature of version 5.1 - it's been around a long time. At least as long ago as version 3.0, and possibly longer.
