How can I adjust these, while I only see it on rendering. And what they mean by rendering - is it exporting. I see nothing while I press play. I see it on preview. P.115 on the manual (Debut).

These effects get applied while rendering. Pressing play does not show the rendered animation but "preview" shows roughly how the current frame would look like rendered. Yes, the real rendering happens when you export the video.
