How do you insert a gif image into a normal post? I hit insert image and i get a little (img) symbol? what do you do after that?

First, you need to find a place to host your image. Something like www.putfile.com? Others will have more websites where you can upload your image to be hosted for blogs, etc.

Second, you will need to put the URL inside the img and /image tags. It will look something like:


[img]http://www.somehost.com/location/of/file.gif[/img]
