underwater text fx in AS?

I'm looking for an underwater text effect type. I remember that in the forum there was something like that but I can not find the thread.

Strong rippling like that can only be done in a bitmap FX program, I'm afraid. However, a softer version can be achieved with a combination of point animation, noisy outlines, and masks. For a start I'd recommend you make several copies of your text layer, and set the parameters for noisy outlines differently on each, then fade between them.
