Hi, not sure this is the right session.

Anyway, I received a catalog of beautiful plans/trees
from the mail.
What caught my eyes was that all the photos have
share the same white background.
Someone surely spent lots of time purged/cleaned/
or even alpha all leave, branches of these plans/trees.

Here come the question: Do you guys know where I
can buy/subscribe alpha-ready-images (instead of
generic stock images)?

In that case, I recommend you to get Corel Knockout. It's a plugin for Photoshop and Corel Photopaint, it produces awesome results in really short time.
Heres a little example I just made in no more than five minutes. This software is very cool

I buy used software from any where I can; garage sales, goodwill for example. I have found that outdated architecture software are a good resource for plant images.

I got KnockOut 2 many years ago. Do you know if it still works with CS6?

ASP has the Image Masking tool (it'll appear in the "Special" section when you import an image).

take a look at http://www.techradar.com/news/internet/ ... ite-624818 for free to download images.

I've got to be honest - I wouldn't really recommend that. Product management had been asking for years for a masking tool, so we finally added one, but it's not very powerful at all. It's kind of like a "magic wand" tool, but with no special smarts whatsoever. The idea was that people could use it for artwork that they had hand drawn and scanned in. It works OK if you've got very clean, sharp edges, but it would be no good for something like trees. For serious masking your best bet is to use a dedicated image editor of some kind.
