After double clicking the layer...

Wouldnt it be great to directly change the layer's name after double click the layer without clicking its name.
I mean I usually double click the layer and immediately start typing the name on other graphic softwares. I think it will be easier to change name of layers.

if you just click the little mini down arrow next to the layer name (not double click) it opens the little dialogue with the title selected.
Also, when creating layers, you are prompted to create a name on creation

I guess they could also make the name field highlighted when you open the large layer dialogue... but there are other ways :)

You know, I didn't even notice the name field was no longer highlighted when you double click on the layer. I've been changing names like that for a long time. Can't say I'm a fan of it changing. Also losing the ability to right click on the hexadecimal color field for copy/paste seems like a step back to me. Also, it no longer selects the entire field when you click on it. Having to drag select every time is really a pain (in the shoulder) when changing a parameter on many objects.
