Shadow colour changed with new version AS 9

Hello,
I am using the layer shadow as a „glow“-effect for the lack of a real one. In AS 8 I have set the colour to a yellowish orange with the alpha relatively high. It looked fine when rendered in AS 8. Now as I am rendering it in AS 9 the shadow appears to be a blueish purple! Could it be that the blending mode of the shadow has been changed so that the colour comes out different?
Please help since I can’t open the file in AS 8 anymore, because there have been other changes made to it in the meantime!
