Is there a color picker in Moho? If I want to know what color my charecters face is so That I can use the same color somehwere else, how do I tell what color is present?

Can I get the RGB color number so I can use the same color in photoshop?

I'd love to know this too.

No, someone on the forum gave the advice of using an external freeware color picker for that purpose. They can be easily found using google. It should be integrated in Moho ideally but at least you can use color picking without waiting for an update!

I came up with a workaround, in case anyone is interested. This is for Mac OSX.

Make yourself an applescript application colour picker like this.

Open the ScriptEditor - Applications > Applescript > Script Editor

Type “choose color” into a new script and Save it as 'XColour". Make sure to make the file format 'Application". Check 'Run Only' and leave the startup screen off.

This should result in a small application that brings up a colour picker . Then go get the HexColorPicker website here <http://www.luckysoftware.dk/hexcolorpicker.php> and download the hexcolorpicker zip file. Unzip this file and put the folder into [username]/Library/Colourpickers. This will add a new menu to the color picker that will give you a hex value for any colour you choose. You may need to scroll sideways at the top of your picker to see it - it should be next to the crayons icon.

Now open the colour picker using the application you just made - just double click it, and choose the magnifying glass. This will bring up .. not too surprisingly .. a magnifying glass that you can use anywhere on the screen. Put it over the colour you want and click to load it into your picker.

In the Hex picker window you will see the hex number of the colour. Highlight this number and right click or control click to bring up the conteztual menu, select Copy.

Then go into Moho, choose the fill colour or line colour menu and paste the number into the hex box.

You can also use the colour picker you made to store up to 140 colours using the white storage boxes at the bottom.

After all that, I just found a much easier solution.

Find the folder Moho > Swatches and drop in a .png of your character. This will give you a drop down selector of that pciture in the Swatches drop down menu at the bottom of the Style menu. Restart Moho to make it appear. Much simpler!

Just select the color and you can find the values of red, green, blue,alpha and a HTMLizable version behind the '#'-sign as well. You can easily transfers these values other programs as well.

But how do you select the colour? Is there an eyedropper anywhere? I can't seem to find one, which is why I cameup with the convoluted workaround.
