Finished this one about a week ago. Just never got around to posting it. Well, that and I was having some guilt issues. We'll get into that in a minute.
let me know what you think.

I've had this character sitting in some folder for quit awhile, so one day after watching a guy cut down a tree I decided to use this character finally. I call him Bob. But, The whole time I was animating this, I kept thinking to myself why did this character look so familiar? Was it one that was installed in the software?
I didn't really remember making it. Well after I was almost done it finally hit me. He(Bob as I called him) was something I made way back when I just starting learning the Anime Studio software. I made him following along with a Tutorial that Chad Troftgruben from incredibletutorials.com made. So here it is.
I did not make this character on my own. Thanks Chad, if you see this. Sorry about that.

I just wanted to give Chad an honorable mention.

Basically I was to far along to scrap it all, so on I went.
What better way to learn how to make animation than to just make one. Gotta start somewhere right?

Hi Pinesal

Firstly, Thank you.
The explosion was really easy.

Its a combination of two layers of explosions.
The first layer is built into Anime studio. I have Anime studio Pro 9, So Im not sure if its included with earlier versions. If your version of the software does have it. Its is located in the SCRIPTS menu under PARTICAL EFFECTS. its called "explosion".
The second layer is just a picture of an explosion from the internet that I just animated its size. its starts real small Under the first layer and resized it very fast.

Just make sure that the first layer(the partical effect) is on top of the second layer(the Picture).
The second layer(the Picture) then just fades away using the pictures layers OPACITY setting. Going from 100% down to 0% over a time period of you liking.

BOOM there it is.

Thanks for watching.

Well, it turned out very good. I will probably apply your technique to my own stuff
