I'm using papagayo beta 3 on a recent windows xp machine (p4 2.8 etc) and I'm finding it very difficult to line stuff up because

1) when I press play, the placemarker starts about an inch in and the actual sound is clearly behind where the marker shows

2) moving the red line around gives no audio feedback, it only moves the picture of the mouth

Am i missing something or is there anything i can do about this?

Try re-installing?

Which version of Quicktime are you using, and have you changed it lately? (I think Papagayo uses Quicktime for sound handling)

What format is the audio file you're using? If it's compressed (like MP3), you might get better results using an uncompressed audio file - try converting it to an uncompressed WAV file, for example.

Thanks guys, it was a quicktime issue from what I gather. I was using an quicktime alternative and everything is working fine now that I've gone to the free QT7.
