Backgrounds Created in Anime Studio

Hello all animators across the universe.
Here are some BGs I'm working on in AS. They're not finished yet, but are getting there.
The most important lesson I've learned is that, yes, you can do almost anything in AS, but it would be a lot quicker if I learned Photoshop/Illustrator or a 3D program.

The aspect ratio looks ok to me. I see you've wrapped your URL tags inside other URL tags so none of the links go anywhere, though. ;)
I love the level of detail in your backgrounds. They are very stunning. I guess we really can do anything in AS!

Those backgrounds are very nice. I like the reflections in the floor on the interior. The stairs look perfect too. I always have trouble with drawing stairs for some reason.

Wow - these are really impressive. Drawn with love! Nice combination of detail and space. I trust you have a number of layers going on so you can give these scenes a bit of parallax movement if the camera changes slightly?

Thanks. Yeah I tried every photobucket link and this was the only one that worked. If you know something different I can do, please share.

While these images look quite perfect in their near-photorealistic style, I wonder which characters could possibly work with it. Also the subject, posh houses, let me think more of a real estate's catalogue than any story happening there.

Haha, you will be surprised by the characters that will populate this story. They are more detailed then "Buddies" but more surreal in nature.

How long did it take you to do them?

Did you use any 3D objects?

About 4-5 days each, 5-6 hrs a day.

No I did not, but everyone thinks I did, lol. But the time I put into them I could have made them in a 3D program and had my pick of any angle I wanted. I need to invest the time in a good 3D software.
