Hi Everyone,

My friend Lychee worked on a incredible technique to manipulate easily characters.
I followed every steps correctly and succeded in create my own.
This is a complete head character 360° usable.

Lychee almost finished the body technique.
His goal was to make ours first animation story graphiquely and techniquely good enought to be showned.
He posted lately the result of his work:

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=24742

After a year working on the technique aspects on his side and me working on the graphics, we're almost ready to make our imagination real on animation.

Thanks to Lostmarble forum and his members. You all show us how powerful anime studio is.
And because tutorials help people like us to go on further and sometimes discovering new tricks of our own, we decided to make some in English and in French ( 'cause we are ;) )

Share knowledge, great is Internet!

Best regards

Looks good - but a year's worth of work? That's quite an investment!

My mistake, it's a misunderstood...
We work extra time on AS after our jobs.

Actually,

1 year making animation tests on AS
3 months to improve the "ultimate puppet" technique by Lychee
2 days to make the all head character.
10 Minutes to make this test sequence

If this sequence continues it'll take you just five seconds to make a film! Just kidding - the animation is pretty good. Tht's the great thing about AS -- once you've done all the preparation, the animating can be quite quick...
