Docking Windows

This is going to sound like a stupid question... But I accidentally closed my layer window on the side dock and when I reopened it now it floats as a separate window instead of being docked to the side and its driving me crazy, how do I get it back on the side dock? Google wasn't much help. I tried CTRL+L but that does not work. I am using AS Pro 9.

Go to the menu Window>Layers

That opens the layers window, but as a floating window I can move around. Its not docked on the side like it is by default. I want it docked so it does not move not floating as a separate window

To dock it, go to Window>Layers again.
