I haven't had much time to animate lately, but I did have a five-day weekend that allowed me to catch up on my WhiteLand project.

I love your attention to detail. Especially the floaty bubble things and the shadow on the forehead created by the hair. You have a very impressive project here!

The water looks great.
Did you use 2 base Layers with gradients? It looks like possibly 1 for the upper surface, and 1 for the base, with others with the bubbles and light shafts blurred. Am I close? I'm working on a 5-7minute animation that will have it's share of water, so tips are always useful.
Thanks in advance

I used a gradient layer in the far back and another in front of the scene (with transparency). The "upper surface" is actually a pre-rendered video of a water animation that I made. The bubbles and light shafts are all in particle layers, which were used heavily. Expect a really long exporting time; it's totally worth the wait though.

Thanks for the explanation.
Hopefully I'll have my next piece finished in 3 months. I end up with about a minute a month, so...
Anyway, Thanks again, much appreciated.
Keep up the good work

Again, still awesome work! I'm in awe at the visual effects of your project. You seem to know what you're doing, haha.
