Hi ~ I'm a real newbie at animation, so, apologies if this is a duh question

I'm following a tutorial on creating blinking eyes. One of the steps is to click on 'bone' at the top of my screen, then 'release points'. Trouble is, all of the selections in 'bone' are greyed out. I don't understand how to fix this. Thanks for any help. ~ Sabina

AnimeStudio 9.5 has an option to fade Unselected layers (Ctrl+Shift+A). Perhaps that`s the case?

This might be too obvious, but have you selected the particular bone in question?
If not press 'B' on your keyboard to select the 'select bone' tool, and then click on the bone you want to release the points from.

First, sorry it took me a while to respond, I've been away.

...so I get home, check out this site to see if there's an answer to my problem, and, um, after reading the advice, I tried selecting the bone along with the points and voila! My buttons are no longer greyed out! Thanks for all the helpful replies, this is a great site! ~ Sabina
