Definitely an improvement, keep at it! Check too to make sure that when the character moves, if you're using Layer Translation (moving the whole layer at once) that you have the keyframes set to Linear. This makes the movement look uniform and doesn't have his legs moving fast but body moving slow at the beginning and end of the walk. I call it the Fred Flintstone Effect.

This might be a dumb suggestion, but don't forget about onion skinning. It's essential for animating walk cycles.

A little off topic, but how did you set up you youtube channel to automatically play your videos one after another. I'd like to use that on my channel

I think it it is on your end, there is an autoplay and shuffle option in upper right hand corner of the viewing window , when autoplay highlighted the play list plays automatically.

There's the key - the video is part of a playlist. That's what you'd set up to have them play in order.
