Can't play videos embedded in Anime Pro tutorials

After multiple emails back and forth with Smith Micro, I am still unable to access the videos embedded in the tutorials. I am running a Macbook OS 10.9.2, using adobe as my pdf reader in Safari. Not blocking Flash. All I see on the tutorial page is "click here to play video." and there is nothing to click on, just blank white space.
Any ideas?
