I have some difficulties with bone rigging

I draw a mouse in Inkscape and imported the svg file in Anime Studio. After that, I created bones for the tail of the mouse. But if I move the bones, then the tail is not moving. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I want to create a little animation(about 20 frames) and export the frames as png images.
What can I do so that the bones and the tail are moving together?

I uploaded my Anime Studio file here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vzpu5bd67oyo1 ... etail.anme

Hi, there are some things to fix in your file:
- the vector layer must be inside the bone layer (in your file, it's below)
- the bones -for this kind of rigging- must have some strength value. Use the Bone Strength tool and drag to the right to increase each bone strength.
Now, if you try the Manipulate bone tool, the mouse will bend with the bones.
- You need to create a new parent bone and bind its points to that bone. That way you will avoid to bend the body when moving the tail.

That should work. However, the tail is not really traced in order to move softly. You could create instead a new tail made of only one line and multiple strokes. That would make the bones bending much softer.

I tried to get the same result as you but if I move the body of the mouse, then the ears are not moving with the body. And when I move the ears then the body is not moving with them.
What am I doing wrong?

If a part is moving which shouldn't, you've bound it to the one you're moving. Release it.
If a part doesn't move with the bone, you've bound it to some other bone or none at all. Bind it.

I don't know how to bind the body and the ears of the mouse together so that everything moves if I move the mouse to any direction.

Read the manual, do the tutorials.

Why do you use 2 different layers(tail, body)? Is it not possible to do it with only one layer? I tried it with one layer, but it's not working correctly if I move the body of the mouse, the ears are not moving with the body.

Sorry, you need to go to the most basic. Check the tutorials and/or the webinars.
You can use one or several layers, depending of the character or kind of animation you are trying to do. Normally, you separate a character in different layers to make easier the editing and animating.

There are different ways to work with bones and vectors:
- Bone strength (Flexi-binding)
- Bind Points to specific bones
- Bind entire layers to specific bones
- Use only some of the bones to bend layer and ignore the rest for it

It's all covered in the manual. Check it and then come back here if there's something you aren't getting.
