This isn't entirely made in moho, but I guess I can share it here anyway, cause without moho I could never have done it - not even most of the non-animated parts.

It's quite long - 10 minutes - and it's 25 mb big.

This is my first try at making movies like this, so there is lots of tings that could be improved. I had a time limit though, and I just barely got it finished in time, so don't expect too much.

Anyway, here it is in WMV3-format, and here with the DivX codec.

(When it says that just about everything is made by me, the exception is the 3D-models, that are free for non-commercial use. I see now that I forgot to mention that in the credits, which isn't good, but I'll add it as soon as possible)

What 3D software did you use?

Hiddicop,

This is very well thought-out, and very well put together.

The pacing is good, the visuals are all very good, and it is a nice "tight" production. There are even good humorous aspects (such as the aliens, and the part where the guy gets in the A-wing and pushes different buttons and the horn and the windshield wiper activate). I thought the music added a lot to each scene, and the mix of live-action and 2d and 3d animation worked well. I especially liked the teaser, and then the title, and then the main part of the movie. The attention to detail was nice, like the sliding open of the window, the grabbing of the palm tree, and little things like that made it enjoyable.

How did you do it all? :-)

Once again, I can't watch this. For some reason Quicktime is the default player for online AVI movies (on my computer). Downloaded the Divx codecs and that didn't help (apparently Divx is incompatible with Quicktime 7, maybe).

Curses, foiled again!

(Seriously, would love to see the movie, if I can figure out how).

For those who can't watch it, I uploaded it again, with the DivX codec this time. Here it is.
How did you do it all? :)
Well, it's rather simple. Images as backgrounds, animation with Moho, and then either greenscreening in EditStudio or masking in Moho.
What 3D software did you use?
The software I used was Vue d'Espirit (which actually isn't any good 3D-program, but all I needed for this movie). I didn't need any better, since I used free 3D models (with the exception of the 3D aliens, that I quickly put together just a couple of hours before the movie had to be finished). The only thing I had to do was to build the scene and move the camera.

Vue d'Esprit? Boy that sounds familiar...

Still can't watch it, it's the Divx that's messing quicktime up actually. I think you already had a Divx version before.

Either that, or it's something about how I have my computer set up.

The first one was encoded with WMV3, not DivX.

If neither of them work, then I don't know what to do. Can you watch other DivX movies, outside of putfile? Perhaps the problem is that putfile uses in-browser viewing of movies.

I can watch mov files with no problems, since quicktime defaults as the online player. I'm really not sure what the problem is, but I know I could view it if I could download it. (VLC or another program).

I think the problem is on my end... with Quicktime defaulting to play this AVI when I really think something like Windows player would work.

I'll work on it.

Woohoo!!!

I figured it out.

In quicktime, under Edit, Preferences, Quicktime Preferences, Browser Tab, then the MIME settings button at the bottom, I just turned off AVI under the Video group. (Now, the AVI played by WMP plugin).

Just watched movie, entertaining work, very eclectic combination of 3d, 2d, and live-action. Glad I could finally watch it.
