Render shows white edges in smaller sizes

The description is bad ... I will show you using some screenshots.
In my workspace everything looks OK :
If I render it in that size it looks OK as well :
However ... when I resize my cameraview so the head becomes smaller (or just rescale the layer) it renders like this (notice the white edges around the eyes) :
It looks like the masking on the eyes is not working as expected ... strangely enough the issue isn't visible one the bigger versions and I can't figure out why this is happening.
Any clues to fix this are very much appreciated.

Do you have vector noise in the head layers?
Since it's a pixel based effect, it should be shown differently at different scales. Maybe it could be solved by unchecking scale compensation in the vector layer proprieties, but I'm not sure.

However, unchecking that option distorts the image even more when I resize it :

Looks like a shape order issue to me. Does the face shape have hole for the eyes, or are the eyes just overlaid?

Hi,
The eyes are overlaid. If it were a shape order issue then I would expect to see the issue on large size as well.
Each eye is a switch layer and inside each of these switch layers I have a masking group for the eyes.
I have removed some layers for easy view ... below is a screenshot of how the layers are set up :

In order to see the issue just rescale the head layer or adjust the camera so the head is tiny and render ... It ends up looking like this :
I started noticing this issue when I imported a head I premade onto a new character body ... In order to match the imported head to the body I needed to resize the head considerably. It was only after rendering that I noticed it wasn't rendering as expected.
