Exported files make my eyes tired fast, how do I fix this?

I was kinda hoping this problem would go away...it didn't...basically, anything that I export out of anime studio is hurting my eyes in some way, (ESPECIALLY gradients, which I got rid of for this reason).

Is there either an option in anime studio (I would HOPE so...) or another program that fixes this problem?...Honestly, its absurd that this is even an issue to begin with. I'm not pretending I know what I'm doing, but when a nearly still image is making my eyes hurt, theres CLEARLY something wrong!

Since we don't know about your eyes and don't want to start speculating, how about posting an example image so we migt know what you're talking about?

Ok this is a little foreign to me...the image seems to be cut off a little bit, but theres nothing else of interest within it. The jpeg image itself DOES NOT affect me negatively, its only in a video (and the program itself actually...)...I don't think the jpeg files bothering me at least...but honestly its not exactly a problem that surfaces immediately, but I'd been starting to notice that I'm not feeling well after watching my exported animations. Could it POSSIBLY be that its too bright?...I don't think it is honestly...The point here is, it DOESN'T happen with other videos I look at.

That sounds very strange. Just curious but do you use an LCD or CRT? Does it bother you when you look at it on a different computer/monitor?

At first I thought maybe it was a screen refresh issue but from what you're saying it's only ASP that bothers you? Just a thought but try switching to the dark theme GUI. Does that make any difference? Is it really only ASP that bothers you or is it other applications as well?

As far at the animation goes, it might help to post it. But then again, it sounds like this is something that affects you personally, so we might not see what you're seeing.

Hope you will be able to figure this out.

Well this is embarrassing, it seems to be just happening regardless as to what I'm currently doing on the computer, but I was only noticing while working with anime studio, (and the stuff I exported) I was going right into the program upon turning the computer on... my dad thinks its just random eye strain...Meh...I'm still not sure of the specifics, I'm just scared something I make will hurt someone, and I'm gonna be held accountable for it.

Maybe I was noticing it more from Anime studio because I'm focusing more to make sure it looks alright?

The gradients almost definitely were affecting me more though...life is pretty weird isn't it? I guess unless someone else says they're having a similar problem that this isn't gonna go anywhere.

I know when I look at a screen with a supre low screen refresh rate, and chew some food, the screen can get all 'swimmy', like it's under water. :)

If that's the case, you might want to check what your monitor/graphics card setting is and increase it if possible.

Eyestrain can explain it too. Occasionally, I work long hours very late into the night, and If I do that too often, my vision definitely suffers. I did that routinely for many years but because of this and other 'quality of life' reasons, I try to avoid working long hours anymore.

At the very least, you should take frequent breaks from the computer--take a walk around the block and look at things in the distance for a while before coming back the computer. You'll feel much better for it.
