Currently I'm on 9.2. Thinking about upgrading to 10 but it's been out awhile now. I am sure nobody knows when the next version is coming out but perhaps somebody recalls a pattern where we can reasonably guess when the next version is coming out?

Or even a sale on the current version.

My notes show v10 (probably) came out in March, and they seem to have a release cycle of around a year between major releases with a couple of minor releases in between. With that I would expect the next major release to be 1st or 2nd quarter next year.

If you have 9.2, I truly recommend you to get version 10.
A lot of stuff has improved since 9.2 and 10 is a fantastic release.

Surely there will be one as Christmas nears.

Also, you'll see a nice price drop probably a month before the new version is announced so that's also something to keep an eye out for.
