Woolbuddy Rigs

Hi, it's an old project I never shared with you.
The guys from http://www.woolbuddy.com asked me to animate their characters. Sadly, I had little time to work on that, so I offered them to only rig each character and create video tutorials so they could understand how to use and animate each of that rigs.
Since the video hadn't animations made by me, I forgot to share about the project. But today I decided to create a video with the project files. The rigs were created during the 9.5 beta testing and there are several important things which wouldn't be possible in previous releases.

The best part is I received the plushes at home, and they are very very cool.

Shows what AS can do in the space between 2D and 3D! Great work, as always.

That was awesome, not just because of how well you made them move, but because it gave us all a peek into how to do it too. That is so very much appreciated.

Thanks Selgin

Very inspiring! :) I didn't know it's possible to achieve those nice turns with image layers. Did you animate the masks or used switch layers?

I'm happy you liked this rigs. I hope to be able to work with this rigging style again.

Thanks. I just used masking for this rigs. I remember they are between made on 9 and 9.5, so at that time Smart Bones could only animate a few layer channels as Scale, Rotation, translation and visibility. No switches. To get a "switch effect", I had to tun on and off the visibility of some groups or layers.
It was the first project I worked with the ability to Bend nested layers, so I could create as many groups as I wanted and, consequently, as many masks as I wanted.
This project would be simply impossible to make on 8 or any previous version.

Wow... amazing! How did you get them to look so fuzzy?
