Downloaded "Audacity" for Mac 10.8.5 after installation it will not open, I tried several different styles of download, same thing. Is there another "Audio" program for Anime Studio ?

You should be able to do most things in Garage Band on Mac.

Agreed that GarageBand would be very useful, but I'm really curious as what the problem could be with your Audacity installation. I'm on an iMac running OSX 10.8.5 and Audacity works just fine. Did you download the latest 2.0.6 version? Perhaps it doesn't play well with Mountain Lion. I have used George Band before and will try it also in animation.

I tried using "GeorgeBand" but I cannot determine the Audio Format of GeorgeBand to convert it to WAV format. As it is now, I cannot import it to Anime Studio.

Ignore my last post, I have been able to save the "GarageBand" audio as a MP3 file that's works with Anime Studio.

Try an older version of Audacity, which should work fine. I've been using Audacity 2.0.3 for two years, works great, no issues, and I refuse to get the newer version for that reason. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
