Automated lip syncing?

Is there an automated lip syncing tool built into anime studio these days? Usually I have a switch layer for the mouth and just switch to each mouth shape as I scroll along through the audio track. I tried to make it a bone dial but that was a complete abortion. Because it's just as much work as doing a switch layer only if you make a mistake somewhere between mouth shapes, the dial rotates through all of the mouth shapes and it looks like the characters mouth is twitching out of control. I want to find a way to make a switch layer, assign each shape to a type of sound and just let it sync it for the whole animation. Is that possible?

Import your audio file then double click on the switch layer, click on the switch tab, click on 'select audio sync source.' Now just select the audio file and hit apply.
I would recommend you use Papagayo though for your audio syncing.

Also copy and paste the dialogue text into the audio layer settings panel before pressing apply. That gives a better guide for the sync automation.
Papayago is more trouble than it's worth in my opinion, better off manually syncing than that... it's quicker.

Manual lip-syncing always looks best, and honestly doesn't take that much time anyway.
