How do I do anything? (How does an old timer use vers 10?)

Hey,

I've been using Anime Studio since Anime Studio 5, and I'd been using Anime Studio 8 for a fair while now but finally decided to upgrade to Anime Studio 10, and now suddenly the bones aren't moving the same as they did before.

The first set bone, that would normally rotate and stay in place, now isn't when I try and move it. Where's the translation bone tool? Why is this image suddenly stretching across the screen? Why am I given a seizure of lights every time I close one of the tabs? Help.
Everything is scary and confusing. Is there a guide that JUST talks about the new features and how to do what I was doing before but in the new version? Or I'll just go back to 8.

Instinct keeps telling me to look for the delete button on the timeline too but I figured I have to hit the delete key now instead, any other changes I should look out for?

I think the easiest way to get acquainted with the changes in version 10 is to go to youtube and search "anime studio 10" or "anime studio 10, what's new".
(I'm not trying to avoid the question, it's just that a few tutorials I've seen there are pretty good).

I had a look around but I still can't find an answer to the thing that I desperately need to know, which is how to fix the fact that the main parent bone is now floating around instead of being held in place and rotating like it used to when I manipulate it past frame 0. It works fine on frame 0, but behaves completely different otherwise.

This is a very sudden change that I'm unsure why the reason for it being implemented.

I'd start with p. 3 of the Users Manual (on the menu bar, Help->Help).
Transform Bones Tool: A single tool now allows you to translate, rotate, and scale bones. See "Transform Bone" on page 80 for more information.
Ver. 10 does some things differently than ver. 8, so I'd review all of the New Features and What's New sections of the manual and see which one is causing your problem. The flashing might be caused by GPU acceleration, but I can't reproduce this problem myself.

With manipulate bones, hold Alt to rotate a single bone.
(The info is on the status bar when you select the tool)
