The Dam Keeper

In the midst of all the Oscar hype, my focus has been entirely on this animated short. I haven't even been able to see it in full, but from what I've seen in the trailers, clips, behind the scenes, and soundtrack, The Dam Keeper is looking gorgeous, both visually and emotionally.

The youtube channel has the full soundtrack and a series of behind the scenes videos.

On The Dam Keeper's website, I purchased (or, gave a donation in return for) a giclee print of "The Dam," autographed by the two directors of the short. I'm really coming to respect the studio behind this; they don't have the financial means to advertise their film's Oscar consideration, so they're sticking to a grassroots campaign, which, I guess, I'm supporting by making this post.
I'm wondering... has anyone here had the fortune of seeing The Dam Keeper at a film festival?

I just think it has a certain charm that makes it look very promising.

Over there in the TVP forum there's more stuff about the film: http://www.tvpaint.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=7000, which, of course, was made with TVPaint.

Beautiful work. I searched a little more about Robert Kondo, who left Pixar to make this. He's actually doing a project called Schoolism to be a workshop for animators and artists.

Very Interesting Stuff. Here's a link to the channel
