Choosing which frame to start imported movie on in ASP10?

Hi everyone,

I'm importing an external video to serve as an effect, so I've used import movie, I've removed the alpha layer and everything is all good... except that I'm having trouble finding how to have it not immediately play on frame 1. Anyone have any experience with this that can give me a hand? Or is it not possible?

Thanks for any help!

I believe a simple solution would be to set the visibility of the layer to off and then on again at the desired frame.

That'd be a good idea, but I'm not sure how to do that. How do you affect layer visibility in relation to keyframes? I've never been able to have anything to do with layers change on a keyframe... whatever I stick them at seems to apply for the entire animation?

You should be able move the clip along the timeline by clicking the Sequencer tab in the timeline.

"Enable animated effects" in the layer settings.
