You know how the Bind Layer tool, when it is clicked on a vector layer, will highlight the bone attached to that layer?

Sometimes the bone won't highlight when the layer has been made via Duplicate Layer.

I have a sample file I can send demonstrating this. This bug (assuming it is a bug and not my fault somehow) has caused me much confusion.

I think this is not a bug, but a problem in your file. (See the other thread for more info.)
