I was waiting for the tree to come alive and rip the crow apart wing by wing, devouring it before choking on its beak or something. It's nice to see your kinder gentler side shining through :D

I'd say it's more of a love hate relationship. I'll love it when A: I actually figure out how to color things without causing the program to crash, and B: if i can actually figure out if feature is capable of doing what I want it to do. I watched Chucky's tutorial a hundred times and all evidence seems to indicate that yes, the program can do what I want it to, unfortunately, he's doing things that I have no idea how to do. I'm really hoping there's more clarity in the webinar when they release it on youtube (i couldn't watch it earlier because I was at work). if not, I'll be the annoying guy with all the questions.

in the meantime, here's another video.

wait...i think I just had a revelation....the one detail that held me back all this time...right there...staring at me in the face....make the ref layers BEFORE you start...facepalm* this was explained to me and it sailed over my head....at least I hope this is the case. TO THE LABORATORY!
