HEY GUYS, DO YOU SPEND COUNTLESS HOURS ON YOUTUBE LOOKING FOR HELPFUL ANIMATION VIDEOS? I KNOW I DO. I KNOW WE CAN ALL AGREE THAT CREATING AND MAKING AN ANIMATION IS NO ONE AND DONE TASK ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE WITH LIMITED OR NO BACKGROUND IN ANIMATING LIKE ME.
THERE'S NO DENYING WE ALL HAVE A VISION AND WANT PEOPLE TO SEE IT. SO WHY NOT SHARE WHAT WE FIND.

SO IN THIS TOPIC PLEASE SHARE WHAT YOU FIND ON ANIMATING. WHATEVER YOU NEED HELP WITH THERE'S PROBABLY 100 OTHER PEOPLE LOOKING FOR HELP WITH THE SAME THING. FOR EXAMPLE I HAVE A TOUGH TIME CREATING SCENES. BEFORE ACCIDENTLY COMING ACROSS A VIDEO ON ONE AND Two POINT PERSPECTIVES I DIDNT KNOW THEY EXISTED. SO PLEASE GIVE ADVISE AND SHARE WHATEVER YOU FIND HELPFUL.

VIDEO EDITING SOFTWARE,
DIFFERENT FORMS OF ANIMATING STYLES THAT CAN BE USED WITH ANIME STUDIO

HEY, WHILE WE'RE HERE DOES ANYONE HAVE A LINK TO A

Oops, heh.

Does anyone have a link to a good tutorial for a front-facing walk cycle?

[Edit]

After some more searching I found this tutorial from ShoNuff:

It covers the basics, but if anyone else has a tutorial on the subject, a link would be appreciated.

All of the different binding styles in ASP would sometimes confuse me, so I put together a little video to remind me and hopefully help others.

This is not Anime Studio-specific, but Pixar has teamed up with Kahn Academy to offer a free animation course. Well worth checking out:

This shows how I constructed Jace 2.0 from the Jace character in Anime Studio. I've applied some of the tools and approaches from the latest versions. I'm using smart bones for arms, legs and head turns. I've combined multiple views to give a more generalized character. I also use reference layers for the mirrored body views.
