Wacom Tablet Issue

Not sure how many of you out there use a Wacom tablet when working in Anime Studio, but I've run into an issue.
So I set everything up with the wacom properties (mapped it out for AS, etc.). It works fine, but I have my Layers window undocked and when I put the pen over it, it completely breaks the connection with the pen and AS. It's almost as if it treats the undocked window like a separate program and just locks up.
I'm not sure if anyone out there has experienced this, but would love to here any ideas on possible solutions.
Thanks

This definitely sounds like a bug.
But be sure to install the latest Wacom driver, sometimes they fuck up things as well, like 6.3.13w3 for OSX.

Haha. Yeah I installed the latest drivers today. Still same prob. Not just on AS either, but any undocked panels. I guess I'll have to check out the Wacom forums...
Or maybe my Wacom property settings are wrong. Would you mind sharing your settings with me ST?

I know it's not the same device but I just undocked the layers window on my Wacom Cintiq Companion and it seems to still work fine with the pen. I have a regular Wacom tablet connected to my computer at work. I could give it a try there on Monday.
Just wondering, which version of AS are you using? If you're using an older release, there are fixes in the latest version that might affect this. Earlier releases, for example, had many UI issues on my Cintiq Companion. The latest 11.1 release works fine though.

I'm on the latest version of AS as well.
And even if I move the pen to the task bar below its breaks the connection with AS. I'm using a Intuos 4. What are your settings for AS in the Wacom properties panel?

Sorry, I forgot to check yesterday. Anyway, the computer I use at work has an Intuos Pro for the LCD monitor and a full size Cintiq off to the side. ASP appears to work fine on either tablet/screen when Layers is undocked, that is, I can click on layers, add and delete layers, and move layers up and down.
I have an Intuos 3 or 4 at home (not sure which one it is, probably 3.) I'll check there tonight.
I'm not sure which Wacom settings you mean. Can you post a screen cap? If you mean express key mapping, I haven't gotten around to setting those for ASP yet so the tablets are probably just using the defaults right now.

Have you tried mapping the Wacom to the whole screen instead?
