Render too smooth?

Post by uncle808us »

Anime Studio Pro 11 MacBook Pro Retina, Mid 2012 15 in. OS X 10.9.5,
I have some splatter following a path and it looks alright in the preview and in the render preview but in the final render there are no splatters. Why?

Do you have Shape Effects checked when you export the animation?

This seems to be a problem when I use png brushes that I have added to AnimeStudio Pro 11. They are .pngs with alpha and as you can see they preview alright but do not render correctly. Thanks for any ideas.

You must use the Select shape tool, select the all the brushed stroke with it and check in the Style window -advanced mode- that there is no effects over it (it must say <plain>).

The other option is the Strokes have a Style applied over them and that style has the effect. To solve that, you have two options:
A- Select all the problematic shapes go to the Style window -advanced mode- and be sure Style 1 and 2 are in <None>.
B- Go to the Style window -advanced mode- go to the Styles combo on the top and select any style from that list. Once the style is selected, look if there's any effect applied to it and change it to <plain>

I tried all that but no luck... Image
It's only the brushes I added not the ones that came with Anime Studio Pro 11. Wonder what the problem is.
Here are the brush files if anyone would like to try: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/1dgg4yamrmt56/Brushes
