Hi all,

We're using layer shadows and are experiencing problem with overlapping shadows. The color gets multiplied where the shadows cross.



Is there any way to tell the software that "hey, look, they are both shadows, do not add, but.. blend?"

This problem is coming to us quite often and I'd like to know how to manage with that. Any ideas?

I think there is no easy solution for that, I'm sorry.
You could try using masked layers instead of shadows. That way the masked layers can have exactly the color you want with no alpha, so they won't overlap.

Group the top two layers, set the top layer to clip shadow to group, and the group layer to clip shadow to group.

Glad to help. I hadn't run into this issue before, but I assumed it had to be doable.
