FBX exports and Unity3D

Hello! I'm new here so I hope I'm writing in the right place!
I'm having lots of fun animating in the AnimeStudio 11 and I was super happy to know that the export FBX for Unity3D was available. Sadly the fbx is not working too good and I need some guidance.
1- In the FBX preview mode everything looks amazing!
2- I export from AS and import to Unity3D (1.3.4f1) and then things start to happen, I can't see some of the assets, like the pupils of the character or the switch layer of blinking animation, legs get all weird, etc. And the animation starts from Frame 0 wish it makes me very confused, because it shouldn't.
I'm not sure though if this is an Unity issue, please let me know if there is anything I could do or should know.
