Window Position

Does anyone know why ASP will occasionally start up with window in weird positions? I have a two monitor system (one above the other) and sometimes I have the second monitor physically turned off, but the ASP windows will be shifted toward the second monitor (the implication being that the toolbar etc is not visible unless I physically turn on the second monitor).
The other, less irritating scenario is that for some reason I don't know, the content library panel sometimes shrinks. I like to show all the elements in the library, so I move the panel to see about 5 across, but occasionally it shrinks back.
Thanks for any help. No other programs I use have this problem
By the way I'm running 11.2.1 on Window 10, but I think I had the same problem with Windows 7, before upgrading.

It's a known bug and it happens when ASP is maximized on the secondary monitor. If the program is not maximized, it will stick the the screen after restart. The devs are aware of this and working on it.
Curiously, I just checked my dual setup at work and it's not happening here. Now that I'm thinking about it, I may have done something 'unofficial' to fix to my install of ASP. I'll check and if that's the case, I'll post the info here.

Strange...I'm not exactly sure why this is working on my computer right now. (Not that I'm complaining.)
I thought what I had done last year was open the shortcut's Properties and, under Shortcut, I changed the Run option to one of the other settings. However, mine is currently set to 'Normal window' which I believe is the default setting so now I'm not sure this had anything to do with it. Running 11.2.1 here as well so I really don't get it.
Anyway, you might try experimenting with that.
I'll let you know if I ever figure out exactly why it's working here.

Thanks Greenlaw. I'll play around with maximize and not.
I'm a little confused about the shortcut's properties. Do you mean Help | Edit Keyboard Shortcuts ... or something else? I'm not seeing a run option, but I also don't know of another shortcut location. Thanks.

The shortcut created by the installer or whichever one you use to launch ASP:
This shows up only for shortcuts, not the actual program icon itself.
TBH, I may have used this to fix a similar issue for another program--sorry, I'm not remembering this more clearly--but give it a shot. AFAIK, there hasn't been an official fix for ASP yet.
Edit: I still don't know why it's working on the computer I use at work. I'm using a standard LCD for the primary and a Cintiq for the secondary, and usually running ASP on the Cintiq. I did see the issue here a year ago. I was probably on a different computer then but still running on Win 7 then as now.
I think I still see this problem at home but will have to check.

Cool. I was thinking of an ASP property. Thanks. That gives me some things to try. I have my cintiq as my primary.

When you do this you will have to delete the shortcut and make a new one. I have noticed in the past that changing the pinned/shortcut icon to maximum does not work. You have to delete those and change the actual properties of the program and then make new pinned/shortcuts. Well that is how it works on my PC.
