Found this by accident but hitting the 'Tilde' key (just above the Tab key) `/~ Brings the working window to full screen with top bar containing Select group etc. and the bottom bar which leaves you the play controls and Display options I didn't see this anywhere, so I leave this quick tip for those who didn't know.

In my experience it's actually the "cause Moho to crash" key.

Isn't the same as ALt+1 "Toggle Secondary Windows"? (I have no tilde key in my layout, I cannot try)

An option that I use more often is Ctrl + Left Bracket (Ctrl+[). This hides the Timeline, which takes up a huge chunk of screen space, and leaves everything else open (i.e., Tools, Layers.)

I find this mode useful when I'm drawing in Moho and want more visible drawing space.

Notice the date of the OP (nearly 10 years ago!) That WAS a 12.5 "feature" - superseded by the Alt-1 keystroke in 13.5.

Notice also that the reply to the OP was the first post from a new user today (01 Aug 25)

Good catch, Paul.

But since we're here talking about this... :)

Re: Alt+1, I just tried this and it works, but I also get a very annoying 'beep' sound. Anyone else hearing it?

This typically means more than one command shares a shortcut. I sometimes set this up intentionally, and to prevent the 'beep', I disable Enable Audio Feedback. However, in this case, I'm still hearing the 'beep', so I wonder if something else is going on here. (I haven't checked if I'm using Alt+1 for something else yet.)

It beeps here too. Seems to be a Windows sound, so maybe Windows isn't entirely happy with how Moho does it.
The audio feedback option only affects tools.

Thanks for confirming, Wes.

I just checked my list of Moho shortcuts, and I'm not using Alt+1 for another command, so, yeah, it's something else.

Yeah, I tested it. Setting the Windows sound for Default Beep to None keeps Moho quiet.

Good to know! I was never sure about this.
Setting the Windows sound for Default Beep to None keeps Moho quiet.
Ah! That explains why I never heard this before. I normally have Window's Default Beep disabled, but I probably never did that with this laptop.

Anyway, I also have the annoying windows sound, which I have for every shortcut i set with alt in moho. I had this problem in other applications (i.e. Finale).
Since i pratically never use this function it is not a big problem, but it always possibile to change the shortcut :D

Quick follow-up: If anyone else is annoyed by the pointless sound alert, here's what I did about it:

1. Go to Settings>System>Sounds.
2. Click on More Sound Settings.
3. Click on the Sounds tab.
4. Scroll down and select Default Beep.
5. Set it to None and click Apply.

This only affects 'generic' alerts.

Normally, I set the Sound Scheme to None to shut them ALL off. If Windows has something important to tell me, it displays a dialog, and because I can read, I don't need the noisy accompaniment. :)

However, on a laptop, I do want some of the noisy alerts, especially when the information affects battery usage. (I still shut off all of the alert sounds for my desktop computer.)

Thanks again to Wes for the 'Default Beep' tip! :D
