smart bone nested layer control both bones and points

Hi
I am trying to control the bones and points of the head (a nested bone layer) of my character with the smart bone placed at the top character layer. But only the bones are working, not the points on the mainline. When I delete the bones placed at the head layer, the points are working when I rotate the smart bone. Is it not possible to control both points and bones of a nested layer with smart bones?

No, any bones in a layer between the controlling bone layer and the controlled vector layer will interrupt control. What can do is have the smart bone control a smart bone (and any other bones) in the head layer that then controls the vectors.
