Hello.
I'm trying to create a walk cycle that has frame by frame legs and some layer animation for the body.
The legs do the walking and the body just goes up and down at the right moments.
I thought I could just create the 7 frames for the legs that I'm using, and add a cycle. But it seems like FBF doesn't do cycling. Is that correct?
Could be operator error since I haven't used cycling before.

You can cycle FBF keyframes just like anything else.

Just how long is your walk cycle? I keep forgetting how many frames,
so I walk one cycle, count the seconds and use that for a starting point. It changes for 24 fps and 30 fps.
I also will rotoscope myself walking to get a better feel of timing and stride length.

I'd have to time it, but I think it's about 10 or 15 seconds.
I'm doing it at 24 fps and drawing on twos or threes. Been interested in Ralph Bakshi and Bill Plympton's work. They get a great feel that jerky but charming.
I've got it all worked out now by just cutting and pasting. But I want to learn about cycles since it'll save time in the future.
I like the rotoscope idea, too.
