Create my own mouth that works with Papagayo dat file

How do I create my own PNG mouths (in Photoshop), then create my dat file in Papagayo and have my own created mouths follow the dat file imported from Papagayo?
I'm using Anime studio pro 9 and creating the mouth exactly like the ones in Anime mouth Props (ex. AI, rest, WQ, etc.)
-I create the switch layer
-add the PNG images in the same order as Anime mouth examples, and click on the switch layer and add the Papagayo .dat file.
-add audio
-start playback and nothing happens.
The dat file, created on switch layer will not switch the PNG mouths I created, but, if I add the keyframe, manually (right click/add to timeline), the images change, but only on my own created keyframes. It does nothing on the Papagayo keyframes that are on the same path.

Sorry for being so wordy, I'm just very confused

Do the PNG layers have .png in the names?

Yes, I believe they do.
How would I create a PNG in photoshop, save it as a PNG, then add it to switch (as image) with the PNG missing?
Thanks

Just change the layer names in Moho to remove the .png.
