Hi,

I am currently trying to create a blinking eye WITHOUT using Switch Layers and Smart Bones. Please allow me to explain -

1. I have man which I have linked a skeleton bone structure too. So the man has Arm bones, legs bones, head bones and and torso etc.
2. Separately, I have a PNG Eye image with one bone attached to it. I am able to make the eye blink by make the bone small or large.
3. However when the head moves I need to eyes to move with it.

Does anyone know how to parent the eyes (which is a separate bone system) to a next bone system? I know this is not the best way to make the eye blink but I am using this method to overcome a problem in UNITY regarding FBX exportation.

Any ideas? Any video links? I'll take anything lol

with a set up like this:

man (bone layer)
>images ...
>eye (bone layer)
>> images
>more "man" group images...

Bind the eye bone layer to a bone in the "man" bone layer that will control eye position.

I did as you said but I am not seeing options in the menu to bind layers. I have attached a pic of what I did so far:



I assume I have to select both bone layers and find the BIND BONE layer options. But I am not seeing that option. I am using Moho 12.

Any advice?

select the eye bone layer then
in the Bone menu is a "Bind Layer" tool button (icon is a "page" with a bone sticking out of it) - click that, then
click on the bone in the main skeleton that controls the head..
and the head bone will turn "fat" showing it has been bound.
