New Formats in Project settings

HDTV is now standard in the USA, Australia and Japan. Broadcasters are now requesting commissioned projects in this format. Europe is currently using 720p50 and the USA/Japan/Korea/Australia(?) 1080i. However, Moho does not interlace, it produces progressive frames. This is actually a bonus - the world techies in HD advocate the progressive format - 1080i in the USA is temporary only. 1080p is the prefered format for the future - the results are so much better.

Therefore for Moho 5.4/6 or whatever, can we add the following options.

format name: 720p50
frame: 1280 x 720
frame rate: 50
Square pixels
Used: Europe

format name: 1080p24
frame: 1920 x 1080
frame rate: 24
Square pixels
Used: Worldwide cinema.

format name: 1080p25
frame: 1920 x 1080
frame rate: 25
Square pixels
Used: Europe, Australia (former PAL countries).

format name: 1080p30
frame: 1920 x 1080
frame rate: 30
Square pixels
Used: USA. Japan, Korea

format name: 1080p50
frame: 1920 x 1080
frame rate: 50
Square pixels
Used: by the totally insane and the very rich - hardware resources are just "Oh my God!". Okay, its also for Blu-ray BD discs.

format name: 1080p60
frame: 1920 x 1080
frame rate: 60
Square pixels
Used: eventually fir TV in the USA.

HD is they way forward, those at Vegas lucky enough to see the 1080P Blu-ray playback found themselves paying hefty cash fines to the stands swear box .. the quality is seriously good. My company has justr started a dialogue with BBC's HD department for advice on animation format feed back.

Current thinking from other broadcasters is 1080p25 but I'll post the BBC information becomes available. Tests here shows that Moho can render good HDTV output, tested at 1080p25. Render time is interesting if you include blurs :D.
