Cable in Wolf Content?

This is aimed at Victor or anybody who knows:

In the Moho Pro 12 'Wolf' content, how the heck was this cable created?

I've been picking at this thing for the last half hour and it's been a real head-scratcher for me. It looks like the layer contains a two-point deforming path but not the 'squiggle' path. I thought maybe this was using Follow Path but I can't find the following 'squiggle' artwork layer. Then I thought the 'squiggle' points were hidden but that doesn't appear to be the case either. And I see nothing special going on in Styles. Whaaaa?

Thanks in advance for any enlightenment.

Probably curve profile.

EDIT: Yep, two-point curve on the "wheel teeth" layer.

Thanks for figuring this out for me, Wes!

I'm playing around with Curve Profile now. Actually, I do remember playing with this a long time ago. I had made a hedgehog thing with animated spines and I thought, "well, if I ever need a hedgehog thing with animated spines..." Somehow, that task never came up and I forgot about this feature. :P

Glad to rediscover it now. Victor's use of it here for the cable is very clever.
