Trouble Erasing Graphic Pen Lines

With lines drawn by a mouse, you can more or less, easily remove bad strokes. But with a wacom pen, the lines loses its widths and become a thin line before you can remove lines. And then, I don't even know how to regain the variable width, or any width at all.
