I have a group layer which contains two groups each with a mask and a switch layer. When playing the video in Moho they are rendering, but when exporting animation they do not render. I also did a Ctrl-R Preview of a frame where they should be and they are missing from there as well.

Looked in every layer in the group for a "Do not render this layers" to be checked, but none were, and if they were it would have been accidental because I haven't needed that feature ever.

Why don't these layers render when I see them in edit mode and they are not checked as Do Not Render?

Complex masking does not show properly in the workspace.

Yeah, that was the problem. The masking was more complex than I needed. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
