This hilarious television show was cancelled due to a cease or desist order. You even can't view it on demand anymore, but the episodes still can be downloaded from episodes 1 tru 4 at this url as 11 MB mpeg-4 files.

There was also an episode 5, which was made by fans in response to the cease and desist order. You can find some mirror sites through Google, which contain episodes 1-5 and more.

Cheers Rasheed, the house of cosbys was the funniest thing I'd seen for a while. What a great animation, very addictive. I can't believe that Bill Cosby was so upset that he got a law suit to take it off! He just aint funny no more!
I thought there new stuff was mad! The unbelievable short stories one. Very sick sence of humor which I like.

AFAIK most of these kinds of animations are cel animations, but I'm sure it could have been done in Moho for a fraction of the costs.

I'm afraid that is the fate of many tv personalities. They earn a lot of money and can afford lawyers and lawyers think of ways to earn even more money for their customers (and themselves). Lawyers don't seem to have a sense of humor, only a sense of where to get more money.

OTOH, if you want to uphold a brand (like the Cosby brand), you need to show that you are serious about protecting your brand, otherwise the judge might just rule against you in more serious copyright infringements.

Anyways, I think The House of Cobys is a very creative way of making fun of a famous actor or person. I'd like to see more of this, even if the creators get a cease and desist letter every time.
