Noisy keyframe

Hi again. Still learning... I was trying to get some wobbly action for an animated jelly and I found noisy interpolation. Super! And with a lot of trial and error I got amplitude and scale to give me something not too bad. But I can’t work out what amplitude and scale actually mean and the manual just talks about noisy being able to simulate a handheld camera. Can anyone tell me more please?
Thanks
Lucy.

Amplitude: how far from 0 the positions can be. Scale: Frequency, i.e. how often a new position is created in time.

If you use this on layer translation, you can see the resulting curve and can adjust the parameters.

Oh thank you! That’s sooooo helpful! Now it makes sense! In the motion graph I can see the point motion too.
