Greetings, when I try to add audio layers using a *.mp3, *.mid or *.m4a files, the program sends an error message saying the audio file isn´t suported. I had no isues adding *.mp3 or *.m4a files on Moho 13 previous versions.

13.5 dropped 32bit support, which includes QuickTime and everything it supported. Audio is now limited to wav, aif, and ogg.

Yeah, I imagine the missing audio/video file support was riding on Quicktime. But there are other ways to implement these features, and I imagine at least some them will return once Mike has time to work on it.

Along these lines, is there a particular format that people would recommend for general work, ie it doesn't need to be highest quality. I get that it may be user choice, but if there's a consensus of a good format, I'd be interested in knowing.

Try ogg vobis format. It's a kind of mp3-file. You can create those with the free audioprogramm Audacity.

Thanks. I think SimplSam suggested that as well, so that will probably be my new default.
