Vitruvian bones: Suggestion - layer select - show bone label

When creating Vitruvian bones, I think it's likely to be a common case where the grouped bones are close to being coincident and you may want to use that bone for layer binding. In that case it would be very helpful if the selected bone name would show up in the toolbar area. As it is now, I can't tell which bone is actually selected, by name. With Vitruvian bones, I'm guessing it will be common to have good number of bone rights grouped, so it can be confusing which bone is which.

Totally agree Strider,
It's been something I request often, long before switch bones.
I can't code, but I wonder if to add the feature to the existing tool, some code from select could be added to other tools, like the new switch bone tool or the rotate, manipulate bone tools?

Hmmm, interesting idea Chucky. I've personally never modified an existing tool. That might be something that could work.

With v-bones, it might be easier to make your v-bone group first and then only show the one you want while binding artwork. That way one chain's bones are never in the way of the others.

I think I misunderstood the post actually.
Now that I ' do ' understand.. :) I agree in a different way.
What maybe a way to improve the situation is a quicker way to enable / disable switch bones.
I'm thinking right click on bone which gives the option to enable/ disable the group.
